OK, now my website is mobile friendly (I swear I do 80% of my browsing on my phone now, I should have done this when I relaunched the site). I still have some work to do to get the images looking the way I want in the old posts, but for the most part I’m happy with the change. Next up are some changes in the css to get the mobile version a little more typographically interesting. Happy wandering!
I went out wandering. Got off the train at Stadium Station, and walked to Commercial/Broadway Station. Here are some of the shots I took.

The best camera is the one you have on you. I took this shot in my yard while taking out the trash, I was struck by how the light seemed to be a spotlight for this particular flower.
I had a little time to kill last night, so I picked a spot, and tried to take as many interesting shots as I could from that location. I think this one turned out best.
It’s been a while since I had gone out photographing, but yesterday was just to gorgeous not to. Here are a couple shots from my wanderings around the Vancouver seawall.
I have moved everything from my old blogging sites to this one. There are a lot of posts, I was surprised to see that I have posts dating back to 2004. I have categorized my main old blog as “Nathan @ SFU,” it mostly comprises project work I did, and thoughts I had during my undergrad at Simon Fraser University. The other category of old posts are from my http://hominus-machinae.tumblr.com/ tumblr blog, which is mostly my photography and random reposts of things I found interesting. If you are interested in my graduate studies, most of my work can be found here: wiki.sfu.ca/personal/nwaddington, and on the curriculum vitae page of this site. I think the next step for me for this site has got to be to curate these imported posts a bit, I’m not sure that I’ll find what I thought was interesting or cool a year ago (or 8 years ago) as interesting now.
Finally, I have decided to utilize nathanwaddington.com. I bought the domain a few years ago, but haven’t used it much because I have automaton.ca as a main web presence. I’m planning on using this space to augment that old site. The archives at automaton.ca will stay there, but the main part of that site will point here shortly.
I hope to replace my tumbr account with this blog, and migrate some of my academic stuff here as well. Moving forward, as I get back into photography I’ll start to use this site as a gallery for my work. Lastly, this space is intended as a portfolio, so even though my old Nathan @ SFU blog will remain archived at automaton.ca, interesting and relevant old work will be migrated over.
